- Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
- No. The file is read and split by your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server, which is why it works offline once the page has loaded.
- Is there a page or size limit?
- No fixed limit. Very large files depend on your device's memory. A laptop handles a few hundred megabytes comfortably.
- How do I write page ranges?
- Separate ranges with commas, like 1-3, 5, 9-12. An open end runs to the last page, so 8- means page 8 to the end.
- Why won't my file open?
- Password-protected or edit-locked PDFs can't be split here. Remove the protection in the app that made the file, then try again.
